A message from the Haven Directors:
New York is one of the most diverse cities in the world. There are over 8 million people living here, speaking over 100 different languages. That's some serious culture clash which (if you live here you know) has its effects on a person.

Probably the most profound impact of all the surrounding diversity is the influence it has on the process of seeking spiritual truth. Much like the food here, the world views abound. Regardless of our varied world views, however, most would agree that if it were possible to truly live our lives after the teachings and example of Jesus Christ, the world would be a better place.

Over the next ten weeks we hope to look deeper into the heart of what Christ said and did while he was alive. Why were the things he cared about so foreign to the thinking of the world that surrounded him? Please come share your thoughts with us while we dialogue about the "Subversive Jesus: An Exploration of 10 Things Jesus Was Concerned About."

We look forward to meeting you!
Dusty, Jo and Kevin
