Free Fridays

Broke and looking for something fun to do? Catch these two can't-believe-it's-free events this Friday (March 30th) and save your cash for a rainy day (or laundry day). First see UK pop star Mika rockin' out at Borders Columbus Circle at 4pm and then if you're craving some culture but can't bear the mile-long lines at MoMA's free Fridays, head over to the American Folk Art Museum right across the street instead (45 W 53rd). They offer free admission to their galleries, plus live music and drinks every Friday night from 5:30-7:30pm.
