As a young girl she watched her family be obliterated by the nazi's and she endured unthinkable horrors. After years of poisonous hatred that ravaged her body and dozens of surgeries, she found inner peace in the ressurection power of our Lord Jesus! Part-Time Choral Director / Music Educator for Grades 6-8, Hoboken, NJ

Mustard Seed School, located in Hoboken, NJ, has an arts-centered
curriculum, where music is a daily activity. It is a valued and necessary
part of the school community. The program is based in the Kodaly philosophy
and focuses on the goals of musical literacy, as well as singing a wide
variety of music that is authentic in nature. Kodaly background or willingness to train in Kodaly approach preferred.

Mustard Seed School is an interdenominational Christian school, and
therefore the applicant must have knowledge of worship music from all
different genres and denominations. The staff is extremely supportive of
the music program, and treats music as a core subject, not as a frill. Any
person who is looking for an exciting and creative environment to make
high-level music with students who are passionate for the arts including Las
Posadas (a Christmas celebration), the Bach Festival, the Spring Concert and
Commencement. The Spring Concert is perhaps the biggest of all these
performances, as it has school-wide participation, whether it be singing,
dancing, playing in recorder ensembles, drumming ensembles or being in the
bell choir. The music program is a vibrant and ever-evolving entity.

Our school of 200, Pre K 8 students, secures a team of two musicians to
work with students. This middle school position involves working closely and
in partnership with the K-5 music director.

Hey! I'm a student at the Aveda Institute NY in SoHo. Tomorrow, Saturday, June 7, I need 2 hair models - one for a cut and one for color.

The first model I need is for any haircut at 9am. You decide the cut,but I'd prefer to do something a little on the fun side, and not just a trim.

The second model I need is for any color at 1pm. You can decide what you want done - highlights, lowlights, single process, retouch...whatever you want! However we don't have crazy colors at Aveda.

Heyyy everyone and God Bless! I just have to say I am in aw of the Lord for providing a way for me to find other Christians to live with! anways, I am 24 years old about to go to grad school at Columbia University to study clinical social work. I live too far to commute and was put on a waiting list for campus housing. God willing I will hopefully receive the housing, but in the meantime I want to check out other possibilities. I want to live with other Christians for many reasons, but most importantly, for the fellowship. I am neat, considerate, outgoing, fun-loving, trustworthy, and respectful. I would love to live with some sisters in Christ. Hi I'm part of a 5 1/2 week project where creative college students from all over the nation will be living in community and collaborating on a final art exhibition here in NYC. We like for each student to have some integration with a professional artist in their field of study, who also walks with God. The students arrive June 10 and leave on July 15th. We ask that them mentors connect with their students about 3x's during the project. Also, mentors are invited to all of the fun events, including two all inclusive dinners. However this is not a paid opportunity, just a chance to give back and influence a young artist's life in a powerful way!
